This antique 15ct gold lily of the valley Victorian brooch was made by the Australian jewellery manufacturers Willis & Co and is a fine quality example of this very popular genre of antique brooch.

Set with 11 seed pearls to the flower head droppers with several more seed pearls embedded in the leaves and bow holding the flower stem with around 50 seed pearls in total and just 1 absent , which will never be seen when wearing.

At approx; 60 mm’s in length and weighing 8.3 grams , the figures add credence to being a quality brooch.
Clear hallmarks showing that the brooch was made by Willis & Co with their unicorn and ‘W’ marks and the carat content being the discontinued gold grade of 15ct gold , which was mainly used in Commonwealth countries in the 19thC and very early 20th.
